Meet Ellen Britt

Ellen Britt is the writer and voice behind The Magnolia Letters, Southern stories told through letters. A native Southerner, Ellen grew up in a small rural town south of Atlanta, Georgia, in a big, rambling, old house her father inherited from his grandfather.

She is a graduate of Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and obtained her Physician Associate degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She also holds an Ed.D. in biology. Her medical career spanned some two decades as a PA in Emergency and Occupational Medicine, plus Urgent Care.

Ellen has previously authored a collection of short stories set in the South, as well as a full-length screenplay, and has now turned her writing talents to The Magnolia Letters.
